Noted researchers discuss the current state of art at Lalit Kala Akademi

Lucknow: PPT Presentation/Lecture based on the artworks of researchers working at the Centre was organized by 2 artists (researchers)  Randhir Singh, Art Critic and Sumit Kumar – Painting on Date:- 20.11.2024 at 3:00 PM at Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Lucknow.

The program started with lighting of the lamp by the honored guest  Rajendra Prasad, eminent senior painter,  Shakeel Ahmed, senior painter and Dr. Awadhesh Mishra, art critic and painter and Regional Secretary Dr. Devendra Tripathi. After lighting the lamp, Regional Secretary Dr. Devendra Tripathi presented the outline of the program and described this initiative as an important step in the field of art and culture.

In this program, mainly researchers  Randhir Singh and  Sumit Kumar gave presentation based on their works.  Randhir Singh discussed the current state of art from the point of view of art critics, while  Sumit Kumar explained various aspects of painting of rural environment through his research and creation. In both the presentations, the ever-changing flow of art and the contribution of research in it were presented in a very impressive manner.

The guest of honour of this programme,  Rajendra Prasad, eminent senior painter, in his address, while appreciating the artworks of the artists presenting in the programme, also shared his art journey with other artists. He called this programme inspirational for other artists.

The guest of the programme, Dr. Awadhesh Mishra, art critic and painter, in his address, appreciated the artworks of the artists presenting in the programme. He said that this programme is inspirational for other artists and said that this is a commendable step of Regional Centre Lucknow. Artists will continue to be encouraged by such programmes. He said that I hope that Regional Centre Lucknow will continue to encourage artists by other such programmes.

Guest of the program,  Shakeel Ahmed, senior painter, in his address appreciated the artworks of the artists who presented in the program. Sharing his art journey with everyone, he said that I hope that Regional Center Lucknow will continue to encourage artists through other similar programs.

The program was conducted by  Saumya Agrahari. Prominent artists, working artists,  Mamta Rabha,  Kiran Singh Rathore, Mohammad Shakeel, Dr. Reena Mishra were present in the program. Apart from this,  Venugopal Parashar (Supervisor, Sculpture),  Rajiv Pratap Singh (Supervisor, Sculpture),  Prem Sagar Sharma (Assistant, Lalit Kala Academy) and all the officers, art lovers, researchers and employees of Lalit Kala Academy were present.

On the occasion of the conclusion of the program, Dr. Devendra Tripathi thanked all the present guests, researchers, artists and audience. He called this event an important step in the field of fine arts and said that such events will be organized continuously in future. This programme has proved to be an important initiative to promote research and development in the field of art and culture. This series of ‘Vardhani’ programmes has further enhanced people’s awareness towards art, and through this, artists have got a platform to share their works.
